Welcome to SkoolSwap. By using the SkoolSwap app or website (skoolswap.co.za), you agree to these Terms.
SkoolSwap is a marketplace for buying and selling used school items. The platform uses an escrow system, where payment is held until the buyer confirms collection using a PIN code.
To use the app, you must: Be 18+; Provide accurate details; Not impersonate anyone; Use your real email or school account.
Buyers agree to: Use the SkoolSwap escrow system; Pay the full listed price; Collect items within the agreed timeframe; Enter the seller's PIN only after receiving the item.
Sellers agree to: List accurate descriptions and honest conditions; Meet buyers safely; Provide the correct escrow PIN; Release the item only when buyer shows the app confirmation.
Buyer pays → Money held in escrow; Buyer collects → Enters PIN; Seller gets paid → After PIN verification; No PIN = No payout. SkoolSwap monitors disputes and may temporarily hold funds.
You may NOT list: Weapons; Food; Fake uniforms; Dangerous items; Alcohol/tobacco; Stolen goods.
Refunds are handled case-by-case. SkoolSwap may issue: Full refund; Partial refund; No refund (if rules broken).
We may suspend accounts for: Fraud; Abuse; Harassment; Chargebacks; Violations of school rules.
SkoolSwap is not responsible for: Physical exchanges; Misuse of items; Fraud outside the app; Meet-up problems.
